Bilgi Bankası

At Efachem, we use a wide variety of filling systems tailored to the performance requirements of different industries. Our product portfolio includes fillers such as calcium carbonate, talc, glass fiber, barium sulfate, and silica. These fillers are selected using specialized formulations based on criteria such as density, hardness, heat resistance, surface quality, or cost optimization, and are used in our PP, ABS, PA6, and PA66-based compound solutions.

All of our products are verified in accordance with international testing standards, both in terms of process and performance parameters. Major methods of our laboratory:

  • Heat resistance through HDT (Heat Deflection Temperature) and Vicat,

  • Viscosity through MFI (Melt Flow Index),

  • Crystallization and phase transitions through DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry),

  • Mechanical strength through Tensile / Flexural / Izod Notched Impact,

  • Surface and aesthetic characteristics through Colorimetry, Gloss, Scratch and Aging. In addition, every new formulation series undergoes a pre-production validation process.

Efachem offers custom compound development services tailored to various industries, including automotive, home appliances, electrical and electronics, construction, packaging, furniture, and engineering applications. Based on customer requirements, performance, cost, and aesthetic criteria are optimized, and solutions incorporating functional properties such as impact resistance, UV protection, flame retardancy, or chemical resistance are developed.

Yes Our EfaEco® series of recycled PP compounds are fully compliant with REACH, RoHS, and PFAS regulations. Our products are tested in independent laboratories for compliance with limits on hazardous substances and environmental safety, and are provided to our customers along with a declaration of technical conformity.

Yes, definitely. Depending on customer requirements, we can produce EPDM and NBR-based elastomers with Shore A hardness values ranging from 40 to 90. Our formulations are customized for each project based on color, filler content, or performance additives, and each new hardness variant is tested and validated in a laboratory setting.

Yes. The Efachem R&D team can design products and develop equivalent formulations based on the TDS, technical specifications, or reference sample provided by the customer. During this process, the targeted mechanical, thermal, and surface properties are verified through laboratory testing, and the most appropriate technical solution is provided.

Product colors are determined based on customer requests, using RAL codes, Pantone codes, or physical color samples. The target color is verified through spectrophotometric measurements conducted in Efachem’s color laboratory, and pre-production approval is obtained for the sample. This ensures color consistency and production repeatability.

Yes. Efachem and Ecopolymer are two strategic brands owned by the Mefa Group.

  • Ecopolymer is a manufacturer of recycled raw materials specializing in the advanced recycling of plastic waste.

  • Efachem, on the other hand, is a manufacturing brand that develops high-performance compound and rubber solutions using these sustainable raw materials. The two brands collaborate to offer an integrated and eco-friendly production model, from raw material processing to the final product.

Efachem’s R&D laboratories are equipped with a comprehensive testing infrastructure that encompasses both thermal and mechanical analyses:

  • HDT/Vicat, MFI, DSC, TGA, Izod/Charpy Impact, Tensile & Flexural Test,

  • Color spectrophotometer, Gloss measurement device, Scratch testing equipment,

  • Aging and climate ovens, density and moisture analyzers. Using this equipment, all of our products are tested to ensure they meet standards for performance, quality, and reproducibility.

Yes. Efachem works directly with numerous OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers both in Turkiye and in the international market. We develop products tailored to our customers’ technical requirements and serve as an active solution partner in mass production projects by providing the necessary PPAP, IMDS, and test documentation.

Efachem’s production and quality management processes are fully compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. In accordance with the IATF 16949 requirements necessary for our business partners in the automotive and home appliance sectors, all of our production steps are monitored and documented on a process-by-process basis.

Yes. In collaboration with Mefa Group’s environmental and sustainability departments, we are conducting LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) and EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) studies for our products. In particular, the EfaEco® series of recycling-based compounds is subject to environmental assessments aimed at reducing the carbon footprint and is continuously updated in line with our sustainability goals.

Requests for custom formulations are typically reviewed within 5–10 business days after the technical parameters are received. Our R&D team analyzes the requested specifications, identifies suitable raw material combinations, and develops a test plan. This timeframe may be shortened depending on the project requirements.

All of our technical documents use the International System of Units (SI). Test methods are based on ISO, ASTM, UL, and DIN standards, depending on the product type. This makes it possible for us to communicate with our global clients using the same technical terminology.

Yes. Efachem is a brand that operates on a project-based production model. We collaborate with our customers’ technical teams on joint R&D projects and plan formulation development, prototype production, and performance testing in an integrated manner. This approach allows for the creation of “solutions tailored to specific needs” rather than a “one-size-fits-all product” for each customer.

You can easily submit your sample requests to our sales team or technical support department. Depending on the type of sample formulation, the minimum sample quantity for laboratory-scale preliminary evaluations is typically between 5 and 25 kg. Sample procurement is planned based on the requested product type, application area, and test plan, and the customer is notified.

Although our ordering processes vary depending on the product type, production typically takes 7–15 business days for standard compounds and 15–30 business days for custom formulations. Delivery times are optimized and finalized based on customer approval processes and the shipping address.

Depending on the customer’s needs, Efachem can use various delivery terms such as EXW, FCA, CIF, and DDP. Our logistics department handles customs procedures, document preparation, and transportation planning for international shipments.

ur products are typically shipped in 25-kg bags or 1,000-kg big bags. A sustainable packaging option is available for products made with recycled materials.

Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS) are available for all our products. After the sample or order is approved, the relevant sales representative shares these documents digitally. Upon request, the latest versions will be sent directly via email.

For the EfaEco® series of compounds based on recycled materials, specific tolerance ranges may apply to certain physical properties depending on the content of recycled raw materials used. The optimization process is managed based on parameters such as the product’s application area and the application process. Efachem’s production and quality control departments calibrate the mechanical and thermal properties of each production batch to ensure consistency.

Once sample production is complete, the test results conducted by the customer are evaluated. If the results fall within the target performance range, the technical approval form is approved and the mass production process is initiated. When necessary, the Efachem laboratory collaborates with the customer’s technical team to carry out the improvement or optimization process.
