We are following a roadmap aligned with “Net Zero” goals and are steering all processes through our sustainability department and committee. Our sustainability performance, which we aim to improve year after year, is strengthened by projects that reduce environmental impacts and long-term social contributions.
Environmental Sustainability
We adopt an environmentally friendly approach at all our production facilities and prioritize the conservation of natural resources. We send our waste to licensed facilities and, after recycling the suitable materials, reuse them as raw materials. We are actively developing projects focused on water conservation and water recovery, and we are continuously working to reduce our environmental impact. We conduct environmental audits at our production facilities every two months to monitor regulatory compliance and performance. Our Zero Waste certification is a key indicator of this approach.
Our Employees
With our people-centered approach, we prioritize the development and well-being of all our employees. We provide an inclusive and safe work environment for our nearly 2,100 employees, treating them as part of one big family. We place a high priority on the employment of people with disabilities and female employees, and we aim to increase the number of female managers each year. We continuously foster employee engagement through social events, training programs, and forums for idea sharing. We remain committed to creating a workplace where every individual is valued.
Climate Change and Energy
We are taking on a strong commitment to combating the climate crisis and are systematically addressing energy management. We generate nearly all of the electricity used at our production facilities from solar energy, and we continue to lead the way in this field through our rooftop solar projects and solar power plants. In accordance with ISO 50001 standard, we set annual targets to reduce our electricity consumption and promote energy savings through energy-efficient measures such as LED lighting. We manage our carbon footprint holistically by calculating our Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
Our Social Responsibility
We value building connections not only through production but also with the community. In collaboration with local governments and civil society organizations, we carry out projects in the areas of education, the environment, animal rights, and social support. From book drives to tree-planting initiatives, and from visits to animal shelters to university-industry partnerships, we contribute to the community in a wide range of areas. In everything we do, guided by our motto, “We have a commitment to future generations”, we prioritize social good.
